About Us
Action for Animal Sheltering
HYPER - Action for Animal Sheltering is a youth-led solidarity project in Thessaloniki, Greece. It focuses on protecting stray animals and supporting local shelters that struggle with overcrowding and limited resources. At the same time, it offers young people, especially those with ADHD, opportunities to take part in meaningful activities that improve both their own well-being and the lives of animals.
Let’s act not only to rescue, but also to care, to include, and to grow, together.
The Project
HYPER unites young people in Thessaloniki to protect stray animals, promote adoption, and foster inclusion through solidarity and compassion
By linking animal welfare with youth empowerment, HYPER creates meaningful participation, confidence, and empathy among volunteers, especially those with ADHD.
Through monthly actions—training, awareness, art, and adoption events—the project builds sustainable community engagement for animal protection and social growth.
Driven by teamwork and guided by Fifty-Fifty, HYPER transforms compassion into real impact, strengthening bonds between humans, animals, and society.
" True solidarity begins when care for others—human or animal — becomes the foundation of collective transformation. "
